Before his legal career, Jeff Tom gained significant business and technology experience, including working for Dell and serving as an international IT consultant in Romania and India. In this role, he led a team implementing complex software for land ownership verification. This background provides him with firsthand knowledge of the challenges and pressures faced by businesses, informing his approach to complex business litigation matters

He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems in 2002. He graduated from the University of Texas early, in just three years. During college, Jeff was selected for a multi-year internship with tech giant Dell. He earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2006.
Jeff has been recognized to the Rising Stars list by Texas Super Lawyers each year from 2015 through 2021. He brings more than 19 years of experience as a trial lawyer to every case. Before law school, Jeff built a strong foundation in business and information technology by earning a management information systems (MIS) degree, working for Dell computer company, and working as an international IT consultant in Romania and India.
